any clue how to become a dell certified field tech?

10 years ago I was certified by dell to work on replacing parts under warranty for dell. I haven't done that in a while however since relocating I have been working on a lot of dells. I was wondering if there is still a way to become a certified tech for dell so that I can do warranty in home repairs. The Indian aspect of dells call centers has no clue. Boy I miss the american based call centers.

Respectfully,

Doug Comer

Hi,

Yes there is a 2 ways, Go on to DCSE.DELL.COM and become a certified tech,

After that try to go on warrantypartsdirect.dell.com

You can become a DCSE Certified tech by just going to dcse.dell.com and register

You have a choice of Tear 1 or Tear 2 Tech,

You must find your own clients and register them with Dell, (Tear 2 Only)

Since you done this before you know about the paper work and the 60 day .

If you are looking for something else like getting the orders from Dell as one of their oncall service support tech,

They no longer accept any companies to become their Authorized service Center for Warranty Parts,

I hope this will answer your question,

Sincerely Yours,

Kevin Zafari
