I figure the producers of this advertisement must be of a very young, self-centered generation -- so young as not to remember the ever-popular elephant-foot umbrella stands. I find this commercial so repulsive I change the channel every time I see it. What were they thinking? Elephant-foot umbrella stands could be seen just about everywhere when I was growing up, and I was only born in the 60's! So What gives? Why would DELL use images so painfully disgusting and hurtful to sell a computer? I've included the following link for all of those culturally ignorant, soulless individuals who don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about...
