Studio 15 power button still pulsates after shut down

Exactly what i state in the title. I shut down my computer and everything seems to turn off except the power button continues to pulsate. The only way i can do a complete shutdown is if i hold the power button down.

Thanks so much for starting up this forum and helping me. When I got my laptop I thought the light would eventually turn off when you select shut down but now I know there was a fault somewhere on the motherboard :-)

Is the light pulsate in standby-mode ?

I have now running Windows 7 and is working perfect on the laptop, only the light pulsate in standby mode but  not in sleep mode ?

I think that is normal or not ?
