A couple months ago I brought a laptop from the US. After having the laptop for 2 months, the motherboard stopped working. I contacted the Dell Company UK and they sent me an engineer to fix my laptop. The laptop was working fine, but after 6 weeks, the motherboard stopped working. I contacted the Dell Company UK again and they said they can not fix it. I was very dissapointed and still am as they took 2OO pounds from me and done nothing. After they took the money,they REFUSED to repair my laptop again.
Why not just transfer the warranty from the US to the UK (assuming you did not do that already)? To do this, you must have purchased an onsite service plan - the standard one year return to depot warranty does not transfer.
