Just purchased an LCD TV on Wednesday and now the price dropped by about $100 and I havent even recieved the TV yet. Will Dell give me the difference? Should I just not accept the TV and buy it somewhere else for the reduced price if they wont do it?
Welcome to the forums
The same product becoming available cheaper (sometimes quite a bit cheaper) just days after we've bought
it, has probably happened to most of us who've bought stuff online
But you were happy to pay however much it cost at the time, so Dell won't
refund you the price difference I'm afraid.
And if you refuse it, you'll almost certainly have to pay a restocking fee?
If you don't mind me asking... why did you decide to buy a LCD TV from Dell in the first place, when there are hundreds - if not thousands of AV specialist stores (who also offer credit terms) selling them?
For AV products, specialist AV stores are by far the better option
From experience, I've found that: “Beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder”!!
