re: Dell W2607C TVI purchased my TV April 2006. I called approximately around October/November to inform of my TV not working. Told out of warranty April 2007. I've paid too much to have a TV for such a short spann that don't work. I have volume but no picture. I don't understand. I am looking for an explanation on how can you sell something that is only as good as long as the warranty??? I've spoken with Dell and they referred me to Decision One for repairs. Decision One does not repair this TV. I called back to Dell again and they refer me to another number still Decision one only to be redirected to the 1st number for no repair. Still waiting for response.

Well here it is in March 2009 and this TV that I bought in 2007 is no longer working. All I get is an amber light flashing three times.
I hear this was a made-in-China TV that Dell no longer buys and sells to us. Apparently there's too many problems with them.
Great to hear that Dell's solution is to not back up these and to instead say "Sorry, out of warranty."
OK, so Dell products last about two to three years and then we should toss em into the recycle bin.
Sorry, but electronics should last longer than three to four years, IMHO.
I am posting a YouTube video to tell people to avoid Dell products like the plague. Hopefully that costs them more money in lost sales in comparison to telling me to take a hike on getting me a replacement. LOL... the Net empowers us little people and protects the uninformed.
I am also telling everyone I know to never buy a Dell product.
Apparently this is just Dells normal business practice......I too fell into the jaws of Hell with Dell.......W4200 Plasma HDTV about $3k...I think they dumpster dive for Samsung, Phillips, and any good part they find here's your TV...........I have no picture also they can't / won't fix it.....Who is Decision One? The thing is 4 years old now I'm watching a 27" GE I bought in the early eightys, it still works fine.
I will never buy anything remotely associated with Dell.......I guess the reason the "E" is crooked is because the company is.
I have the same issue! No picture, 4 years later and done. I have 3 blinking amber lights, tried everything. I had also purchased a 32" TV from Dell around the same time and the sound gave out on that one last year. Never buying a Dell product. Giving the better business bureau a call!
I was lucky - sort of - in regard to getting rid of my junky Dell W370MC 37" LCD TV.
"> Because I opted to buy the 5 year extended warranty from Dell when I bought the W3706MC 37" LCD TV in January of 2006, Dell and Decision One legally had to replace it twice, neither of which worked properly. Finally, with 20 days left on my warranty, Decision One replaced the last W370MC with a Samsung.
"> While the Samsung does not have the PIP swap feature ( a main reason I bought the W3706MC ) at least it works!
"> Decision One was not willing to replace the W3706MC with an equivalent 37" Vizio, one which has the PIP swap feature.
"> I hope that both Dell and Decision One took a financial hit in this case as a result of producing, selling, and warranty servicing the piece of junk they call a W3706MC.
"> Also, every Decision One representative I spoke with actually lied to me by assuring me that they were a direct Dell employee, not someone who worked for a separate company. And Dell Customer Service also actually lied to me, promising to email order details to me but never doing so.
"> Lesson learned: NEVER, EVER BUY A DELL PRODUCT!!!
Please forgive the dorky emoticons, buy I'm so freakin' happy to be rid of the W3706MCand through with Dell!!!!
