  • This MFP has been repeatedly problematic. Now it has stopped working and shows error 2440000 and 009-654. What I have been able to find suggests removing and resetting the transfer belt assembly and all toner cartridges. OK, I've reset all the toner cartridges, but please tell me how to remove/reset the transfer belt. And, also, where is the used toner cartridge? The Dell user guide is no help.

    If anyone else has chased this problem, please share your results.

  • Sorry...I talked to Dell support but once the printer is out of warranty they obviously don't pretend to offer any assistance. They did tell me that the error msg I have been getting involves getting into the printer which is not consumer accessible. Yeah, DELL!
