  • Is there any published documentation or hints for accessing the API without installing any agent or OME?  We have several hundred servers we need to add and doing it through the GUI is going to be painful.

    You can access Dell API without installing any agent or OME however to access the API services, you require to obtain your private API key.

    To begin with the API on-boarding process, please update and return the “Dell On-Boarding API Request Form” attached herewith.

  • I was looking more for the API on the Dell SupportAssist product.

  • Please note that there is no way to add device into Support Assist without OME. The prerequisite is that all devices you want to manage under Support Assist have to be first discovered in OME.

    You can do a range discovery in OME, all discovered devices will show up under Support Assist Devices page. You can go through the UG for doing a range discovery www.dell.com/.../Discovery-Wizard-Configuration
