The latest version of SupportAssist for OME, version 2.0, is now available for customers to download! We have over 4,300 customers actively using SupportAssist for OpenManage Essentials (OME) worldwide! These customers can take advantage of the latest SupportAssist features including:

  • Compatibility with OME 2.0
  • Available for PowerEdge 13G
  • Improved error messaging within user interface so users can quickly resolve issues
  • Auto emails in the event that connectivity to Dell or diagnostic and log collection uploads fail
  • Ability to group devices, as desired, for auto email notification and parts dispatch activities

SupportAssist is available for PowerEdge, PowerVault, EqualLogic, Force10 and PowerConnect products. If your customer has a ProSupport entitlement, offer him or her the SupportAssist and OME 2.0 bundle download link today. Existing customers with OME 1.3 and SupportAssist for OME 1.3 are automatically notified in the SupportAssist application of the new 2.0 release. They can upgrade to the latest version from within the application.
