With RCS, you will get a Dell Support Engineer to deploy OME and SupportAssist for you.

It’s easy:

  • For ProSupport Plus customers, contact your Technical Account Manager for additional information.
  • For all other customers, contact your Dell Sales Representative to order Dell Remote Consulting Services (RCS) using a standard Dell SKU number.
  • If you have an existing order number with RCS, contact Dell Support to schedule implementation work at a time to fit your schedule. The process is simple:
    • A specific Statement of Work would be reviewed with you.
      • Dell provides Planning, Design, Implementation, Testing
      • Remote installation of single assets or entire Dell OME environment
      • Set-up and configuration of Dell SupportAssist
      • Brief product awareness session and project close-out
      • Customer works remotely with Dell by phone & secure Internet
      • Customer performs any on-site activities, if needed
      • The Dell Service Description is located here
      • Adding SupportAssist plugin software is approximately 15 minutes to setup for those with experience.
      • Incremental time may be required to validate OME or SCOM are set-up properly to send Alerts via SNMP and collections to Dell.
