I would recommend dell to design vostro laptop like sony vaio E series 2012 optical and hdd on the left side ,usually hdd under mother board result in heat and oher issue also to provide hdd at 5400rpm which would again reduce heat .

Make the Cmos battery available from bottom case.

Removal of access panel should be designed in better way as the current vostro 3560/3460 the lockings can be broken easily and its hard to take out the panel more screws(on all four side) would be better on bottom case rather then plastic locking.

Wifi needs to be better by providing 2x2 antenna

keyboard removal the plastic locking (abv the keyboard)needs to be replaced with screws as its easily broken during service of laptop or during change of WLAN card,Dell needs to understand these are SMB and require these access.

Current Cons of Vostro 3460/3560.

Cpu fan spinning max making noise at odd timings when no apps running complain by many on dell community site including me but no resolution

Link below:

en.community.dell.com/.../20236769.aspx

Wifi issue:Dell well known for wifi signal/speed drops by customer but dell quotes as "NOT KNOW ISSUE'" and blame other things on instead of providing drvier fix as currently the DW 1704 the fix is to install driver from lenevo website shame on dell for not providing the update

wifi issue link on dell community consider by dell customer have just commented ,cusomer are not fools to write on community site .
