At Dell, we constantly work to reinvent and refresh the PC monitor for our customers. In January, we were ecstatic to win two CES 2015 Innovation Honoree Awards for our Dell UltraSharp Monitors – the 34" curved monitor with panoramic clarity and for the world’s first Ultra HD 5K resolution monitor. But we didn’t stop there; we left CES and went right back to our labs to continue developing innovative monitor technologies.
We are focused on democratizing monitors with higher resolution for everyday use. We understand that higher resolution can markedly improve a user’s productivity, whether they are creating content or viewing images. Monitor resolution - from HD to Full HD to Quad HD and beyond – has a direct impact on your computing experience, especially when you stare at a screen for long hours at work every day.
Following our big CES wins, we are excited to announce the Dell 24 Monitor (P2416D) – the newest member of our award-winning portfolio, designed specifically to offer Quad HD resolution and incredible screen performance to our mainstream customers. At a resolution of 2560 X 1440, this 23.8” monitor lets users view 77 percent more content than on a Full HD screen. The Dell 24 Monitor is also packed with top productivity-boosting features, including:
Starting at $369.99, the new Dell 24 Monitor comes with Dell’s Premium Panel Guarantee, offering a free panel exchange in the event that even one bright pixel is discovered during the 3-year Limited Hardware Warranty period. Our 3-year Advanced Exchange Service guarantees the next business day onsite shipment of a replacement monitor, minimizing down time for added productivity. The P2416D is available starting at the end of this month in China, followed by availability towards the end of April in both the wider Asia Pacific and European regions and availability starting in May in the U.S. See the monitor for yourself here.
We are excited to welcome our newest monitor, perfect for office workers, photo-enthusiasts and gamers. Our designs are based around our customers’ needs and we encourage you to participate in the conversation in the comments section below, or send your thoughts via Twitter to @Dell.
