Gamification of channel campaigns and training has proven to be effective, enjoyable and popular among our partners. We recently deployed this training method to launch an “edu-taining” competition among our India partners, rewarding top finishers with great Dell prizes and all participants with greater knowledge of Dell enterprise solutions.

Over 600 individuals from the IT channel community in India played the Dell’s Destination Mars game created to build a better understanding of Dell’s enterprise solutions through a fun and engaging learning experience. Racing against a clock, this interactive game required speed and technical knowledge to earn “power values” as players strived to build a space station on Mars. Further game credits were earned for sharing results via Facebook and recruiting others for the challenge.
