At Dell, we are dedicated to giving our customers the power to do more with the help of technology. We put the same driving force behind our mission to inspire women and entrepreneurs from all areas of the world to bring their business ideas to life. In partnership with Microsoft, we put this mission into practice over the past two weekends at the Dell Inspire House in East Hampton where entrepreneurs and influencers gathered to share best practices, experiences and ideas for building and sustaining successful businesses.

The first series of the Inspire House kicked off on July 26 with the Center for Entrepreneurs Weekend. Dell’s Center for Entrepreneurs arranged a series of panels on topics from creating media buzz to curating your best professional network and securing data. Entrepreneurs from companies including 2U, Ionic Security, The Lean Startup, Communiclique, Skai Blue Media, Speek and Take the Interview gathered to discuss the struggles and successes they’ve faced and how they’ve each used different resources and technology solutions to scale their businesses.

The Inspire House’s second series began on August 1 with World Changers Weekend, which aimed to give female entrepreneurs and girls a platform to discuss and collaborate ways to help each other progress in business and life. Dell’s Pay It Forward initiative, a movement that harnesses the power of women’s networks to positively impact the future of women’s entrepreneurship around the world, was central to discussions as a way to help make the world a better place.  Representatives from organizations like GirlUp, The UN Foundation,and Tory Burch Foundation were all participants in sessions that focused on how to #PayitForward and inspire women at a young age to change the world and discussions about MY World, a global survey for citizens led by the United Nations and its partners.
