Earlier today, Dell opened the doors to a new Solution Center in Singapore. The Dell Singapore Solution Center (DSC) provides a place for customers to see first-hand just what Dell can do for them. Similar to the existing DSCs in Limerick, Shanghai and Austin, we’ll use this center to showcase exciting technology while helping our customers find the services and solutions that best meet their specific needs.
As one of the 12 Global Solution Centers to open this year, DSC Singapore is a part of our recent $1 billion solutions investment. This commitment is part of our efforts to provide end-to-end solutions and services for customers globally. The DSC was jointly opened by Paul-Henri (PH) Ferrand, Chief Marketing Officer for Dell Consumer, Small and Medium Business and President, Dell Asia Pacific and Rear-Admiral (NS) Ronnie Tay, CEO, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). Singapore has been a key regional site engaging in the design and development of Dell products, services and solutions since 1995, which made it a natural choice for our first DSC in South Asia. IDA and the Singapore Economic Development Board will be critical in supporting our technological investment in Singapore.
A Common Global Lab to help Customers Succeed
DSCs around the globe allow our customers to take advantage of our team members’ expertise. At each DSC, Dell team members will help customers make the most of their technology budgets so they can invest less on managing their infrastructure and more on technology innovation to grow their business. Additionally, the DSC provides a backdrop for customers to learn about Dell’s industry-focused solutions and domain expertise to suit their own requirements.
Bringing our Services and Solutions to Life
The Solution Center in Singapore opened to much enthusiasm as Dell customers, partners, the media and team members took part in the launch. Guests were wowed by interactive demonstrations of Advanced Infrastructure Manager (AIM), Compellent, Dell KACE, Intelligent Data Management (IDM) and vStart 100.
PH addressed attendees by explaining the purpose of the new center is to underscore Dell’s evolution to a services and solutions company and we are committed to delivering end-to-end solutions that are open, capable and affordable to help our customers drive optimum business results.
