This year Dell will launch the largest portfolio of business client solutions in its history. Today we unveiled new Latitude, OptiPlex and Precision products at a media event in San Francisco. These new systems are built from the ground up with manageability and security in mind. They're designed to meet enterprise IT needs and appeal to the end-user with a sleek and stylish design. We also previewed a new 10" commercial tablet that will be available in the coming quarters. More to come on that soon.
Dell's vision for client computing aims to change the way end-users compute and how IT departments manage resources - making both more efficient and effective. As the workforce evolves, we believe computing should be driven by workloads and end-point enablement. One size does not fit all. Consumer and enterprise computing are converging, but are not the same. New workers want business-class tools with consumer appeal.
In addition to ruggedness and design, we focused on offering solutions that go way beyond a "box" to help companies manage the full scope of their lifecycle. With recent acquisitions such as KACE, SecureWorks and Boomi we've strengthened our capabilities.
