As we head into 2010, one thing is clear… this is very much a mobile world we live in. And since we don’t stay put, neither should our computing and communication tools. However the real value has never been about the tools themselves, but rather what you do with them.
Dell is committed to creating an ecosystem of simple, easy seamless computing and communication. We took the first steps toward this goal earlier this decade by including built in Wi-Fi in our laptops followed by support for phone carrier data services, a.k.a. Mobile Broadband. Some of you may have seen recent reaction to Intel's latest plans for the Atom processor. Monday we announced the updated Inspiron Mini 10 which will be based on these new processors and can deliver HD content without stutters or skips, can pick up local TV station HD broadcasts and even help you stay on course and in the know with built-in GPS and location aware Wi-Fi capability (expected to be available on dell.com in early January).

From the smallest Mini to our largest Alienware system, from the everyday Inspiron, to the multimedia workhorse Studio XPS, consumers expect a seamless experience that gives them access to all their friends, all their tools, and all their data, *all the time* across *all their devices.*
We believe that Dell’s depth and range can answer this challenge, and our vision is to craft end to end solutions that focus on enhancing mobility, truly addressing how consumers live today!
We are going to provide a glimpse of that vision – on the go computing with seamless connections - the morning of January 7th, within the Dell Suite’s at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.

The new Dell Mini 10 brings many needed improvements but they are still lacking from competitors like HP, Acer, and Toshiba.
What it needs:
The Design looks awesome. To have "seemless connections", try to have all products line updated with the same look and at the same time would be better. Right now, the older Inspiron 15 has a different look than the Inspiron 14 and 17 with the updated silver around trackpad. Try to update everything in the line at once.
