This weekend the Inspiron 14 will be available for order on QVC for customers in the United States.  That's the first place the Inspiron 14 will be available, since it will not officially launch on Dell.com (both in the US and other regions) until later next week..  So if you want to be one of the first to get your hands on one, this weekend is your chance.

Editor's Note:  As of this morning the Inspiron 14 is now available on Dell.com.   You can check out our newest laptop at this link.

  • This is confusing for me. The release was very quick, coy, and a bit hard to get correct tech specs. The base starting configuration on Dell.com for the Inspiron 14 was $449. This means the QVC configuration was DOUBLE the price, with it's "retail price" even more confusing. I added up the same configuration from a start up $449 Inspiron 14 on the website and saw the price to be fair, as it did go over the margin of $899. Regardless, my mother is getting me this laptop and I'm pleased with the specs. But the one question I can't seem to answer is, what is the LCD? On your website the Inspiron 14 comes standard with LED True life. The Qvc configuration lists it as "Diagonal glossy widescreen display". Does this mean, it's different? Inferior? I'd really like to know that. I asked an Agent but even he seemed confused.
