Today Dell introduces the newest Vostro laptops, based on customer feedback and the needs of small business in the current economy. The redesigned laptops include the 13.3-inch Vostro 1320, the 15.4-inch Vostro 1520, and the 17-inch Vostro 1720 (You can check out product images here on our Flickr Page). In addition, the new Vostro laptops include free Dell Video Chat software helps small businesses survive budget crunch by replacing travel with technology. Products are available today in North America and select South American countries, followed by Europe, Middle East and Africa on April 7, and select Asian countries in May. Wow this is not so good.. It seems like the slot loaded DVD ROMs are gone in favor for the old tray loading ones. Also doesn’t seem like the hirez screen options are there but those are probably coming in time. Not any thinner or lighter. Not sure what this update was for really other then the option for more than 4Gigs of ram which I'm not sure many people will use.
Funny that when asked about developing the product with the input of customers, IdeaStorm wasn't mentioned once.
