The International Consumer Electronics Show, more commonly known as CES, is the world’s gathering place for innovators, thinkers and difference makers from all over the world.  It is the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. Recently held in Las Vegas, January 6th through the 9th, CES showcased more than 3,600 companies including Dell.

Over the four days, Dell introduced a variety of new products while also providing an interactive and compelling experience for attendees. Among some of the new products released were improved commercial laptops, 2-in-1s and cutting-edge displays. Dell won a total of 42 awards including multiple “Best of CES 2016” and innovation awards.

A few of these products highlighted consisted of the following:

  • The new Latitude portfolio has been completely refreshed with best-in-class designs and powerful processing options enabling customers to work efficiently and effectively. The Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook™, Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1, and Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1 build off key pillars that IT demands while offering the high performance needed for today’s fast-paced and demanding work environment. These products will provide the best user experience for our customers using Windows 10. Additionally, Intel and Dell engineers included the latest Intel vPro processors that will change the way businesses operate when it comes to collaboration, security and productivity.
  • Dell also announced a range of new monitors including Dell’s first OLED monitor, the world’s first InfinityEdge monitors, and two new wireless monitors. The Dell UltraSharp 30 OLED monitor is Dell’s first OLED monitor giving PC professionals a cutting-edge typical contrast ratio of 400,000:1, Ultra HD 4K resolution and an ultra-fast response time of 0.1ms. The Dell UltraSharp InfinityEdge monitors offer integrated cable management and adjustment flexibility, winning 2016 CES Awards in Innovation and Eco-Design. Lastly, our new wireless monitors, the Dell UltraSharp 24 Wireless monitor and Dell 23 wireless monitor, allow users to wirelessly display and manage content from a Windows-powered laptop and Android smartphone concurrently via Miracast.
  • The Dell Dock and the Dell Thunderbolt Dock were other additions to our comprehensive ecosystem and offer commercial users the opportunity to effectively integrate displays, mice and external keyboards. These docks can partner with our current line of Skylake powered XPS notebooks.
