Last week (Oct. 20 – 22) at our annual Dell World event in Austin, TX, Dell hosted over 8,000 attendees as business leaders, technologists, developers and designers shared ideas, stories and best practices. The conference was designed to bring together technology and business professionals who are crafting a vision for the future of their organization. It was a chance for us to hear directly from them in our enterprise and software user forums about the challenges they face and our opportunity to share ways that we can help.

The sessions started with a keynote featuring Michael Dell and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. They reaffirmed Dell and Microsoft’s continued partnership through the announcement of a joint hybrid cloud solution. Other key themes during the event included Dell’s continued efforts to digitally transform the world and support entrepreneurs as part of our vision for the future of technology and our leading innovations in the “IT of tomorrow.” Michael also reiterated our commitment to the PC business as he pledged to ensure Dell remains among the top PC providers in the market’s consolidation.
