Dell India in partnership with Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT) – the apex body actively representing the IT Hardware and associate industries in the country – is organizing a pan-India Seminar & Expo on “Technology Updates for SMEs - enabling performance and growth by latest and cost effective ICT Technologies This is being done with the support of Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India. The seminar, first of which took place in Chennai, will also be scheduled at Cochin, Bhopal, Pune, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, and Dehradun.

Other associations supporting this initiative include Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA), The Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and the Hindustan Chamber of Commerce and the Madras Management Association (MMA).

The event is targeted at decision-makers and senior representatives from all verticals of SMEs / Technology User Industries. Dell solutions will also be exhibited at the venue to enable participants have a closer look and feel and at the same time closely interact with the technology/solution providers directly.

This seminar is aimed at educating the participants on importance of other parameters like data security, faster connectivity, network & telecom solutions, besides cost of technology.

In the same spirit, Dell would also be organizing the Essential Solutions Seminar in partnership with Intel. This series of seminars is aimed at enabling SMBs in discovering how businesses in Asia Pacific have benefitted from Dell's methodical approach in designing deployable IT solutions that are essential for the gamut of varied market demands. The Essential Solutions Seminar will be rolled out in Chandigarh, Nagpur, Noida, Trivendrum, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Mumbai.
