Precision 5550 fan seems to always be on after Win 11 upgrade
All my drivers/BIOS/Firmware are up to date, my power plans is set to balanced as it was on Win 10, dell power manager > thermal mgmt is still set to optimized so all settings are the same but my fan seems to constantly be on now.
I'm looking at taskmgr and there is nothing I can see that's taxing the CPU. It's between 10% - 15% with everything I normally have open. I understand that each new version has more processes but it seems to really be killing my battery life.
Anonye else have this happen?

Reverted back to win 10 this afternoon and the fan is back to normal. Looks like I'll stay on 10 Pro until it's EOL.

Hi, the issue with fans running non-stop seems to plague other makes/models of laptops too. I've seen the same happen with Lenovo's and HP's. Seems that MSFT has a lot to still work out in Win11 so I'm staying away from it for now too.
