Changing from Xeon to Core cpu on Precision tower 7810?

Hi good morning, afternoon, evening, I have a question, I'm currently using a Dell Precision Tower 7810 with a 0KJCC5 motherboard, i would like to upgrade my cpu (Intel Xeon E5-2609 v3) to a (Intel Core i7 6850k) I investigated quite a lot and received useful information but I still have some questions regarding whether it is actually compatible, or not. I know that the socket of my motherboard is LGA2011-3 I think? But in the Dell Precision Tower 7810 manual, in the cpu compatibility i only see intel xeon processors, I would like to know if is actually compatible if someone can help me with it, Thank you in advance! :)

There are some users ran their T7810 with i7-5820K and i7-5930K and posting system benchmark here https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder?searchTerm=precision%207810%20i7

If you already have the CPU and wanting to test for the sake of learning, go for it.  If you are looking for performance upgrade, a pair of Xeon E5-2680 v4 is half the cost and outperformed the Core i7 4 times.

The only way to know would be to try -- the sockets will exchange CPUs, but the two CPUs are a generation apart -- and the Precision never shipped with other than Xeon CPUs.  Translation:  the odds are against the CPU exchange working.  Even if the CPU works electrically, the firmware on the Precision board likely won't recognize it.
