Will a RTX 4080 Super Founders Edition GPU fit in a Precision 3660 tower case?
Hi, all --
I have a repurposed 3660 tower from work configured with a 12700K, 64 GB of RAM and 1000W PSU. From what I understand, the two 6-pin PCIe cables can be combined with a x2 female to 1x 8 pin male adapter to get the third 8-pin required to power the 4080 Founders, but will it physically fit inside the case? I can't find any examples online but wanted to make sure before pulling the trigger on the card.

RTX 4080 dimensions: 310 mm x 140 mm x 61 mm Is used in 3660's accordimg to userbenchmark.
RTX 4080 SUPER: The same dimensions.
SUPER FE: ?
You might've done the same thing. I Googled away at trying to find dimensions for the FE. May be it's the same?
You might have to try it (make sure it has return policy) and let us know if it works. Some things about it might be too new for Google. Not very many threads on it I could find in this forum either. None mentioned it and the 3660.

The 4080 S FE card's dimensions are 310 mm x 140 mm x 61 mm, and it features a triple-slot cooling solution. this is in agreement with brad's answer.

this 4090 dimensions:
322 x 136 x 62mm
this card is longer and thicker than 4080 S FE, but 4 mm narrower

Thanks, yall! I'm measuring a tight fit on the Founders, I think the ASUS ProArt 4080 Super is going to be the one that fits but they want a 15% premium for a smaller card with a subpar cooling solution! Maybe that huge Ventus is outside the case or running open chassis? Might have to stick with this RX 7900 XT for now.
