precision 5820 Bios checksum failure no boot
Hi I have a precision 5820 workstation that is experiencing a bios checksum failure. 2 amber blinks 5 white blinks I have tried changing the cmos battery re-seating the cpu and can not get it to post. Can anyone here help me bring life back to my desktop?

For Precision 5820, the light pattern of 2 amber blinks followed by 5 white blinks indicates invalid memory installed. With that said, reseat the modules and check your system memory configurations. Any prior work done to update, upgrade memory may had been the cause.
