RAID level migration from 0 to 6 on Dell PowerEdge R620

I have a bare metal backup server with Windows Server 2016 and Veeam Backup and Replication installed. It's being used to backup vSphere VM's. The issue is that it was setup as RAID 0. Four SATA HDDs (4 TB each) made into one virtual disk. I want to change the RAID level to 6 on that virtual disk. It has PERC 710 Mini (embedded) controller.

Is it possible to do a RAID level migration without losing data? or do I have to delete RAID-0 virtual disk and recreate RAID-6, install Windows server and setup backup again?

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell. Would this help? Let us know if you have any further questions.

The article you linked has this note:

Note: This feature is available since the iDRAC9 generation if you also have a supported PERC (9 and 10).
I have R620 with iDRAC 7 and PERC 710 Mini (embedded). So would the article still apply or not?

Hello yes it's possible on both iDRAC 7 and PERC 710 Mini. However, please note this has to be done on OMSA.
