R740xd issue with H740p mini

My R740xd 12LFF was pre-configured with H730p controller. I decided to upgrade to H740p mini but I keep getting the following error message during boot up:

HWC2003: The storage BP1 SAS A0 cable is not connected, or is improperly connected.

I tried to replace the cable and the Interposer; however, the problem is still not resolved. 

The H740p controller is recognized, but doesn't seem to recognize the backplane!

The cable I am using is 1RRJP.

Is there anything else I need to do to get this controller working?
