PowerEdge RAID Controller H710 Mini Moni and PERC 6/E compatability with Red Hat 7.9
My customer has found itself in a pickle as they have some very old Red Hat 5 servers that they desperately need to get to Red Hat 7.9 (albeit for a brief period of time before they go to the Cloud). The output of a lspci -v command shows they are using two types of RAID controller, a Dell PERC H710P Mini (for monolithics) and a Dell PERC 6/E Adapter RAID Controller. The users guide states the H710P is supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 6.2 and later and the 6/E on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version 5. I know this is a long shot but does anybody know if these RAID controllers work on Red Hat 7.9 and would have the relevant drivers for that OS?

What is the server model?
We can usually get an idea of validated components if we see what OS is valid for the host.
This is the only RHEL HCL I can find : https://dell.to/3xlYTEd
It shows what systems are validated but not components.

@DELL-Charles R Hi Charles, the server models are R720 and R710. Does this help working out if the installed hardware is validated?
