Enable S140 RAID Controller after purchase
I have an R740 with a PERC S140. I cannot configure a RAID because the S140 was not enabled at the time of procurement. How do we enable the S140 for functionality?

To enable the S140, you will need to access System BIOS using F2 at startup. Then select SATA Settings and select RAID mode from drop down menu. Then exit out and save the changes. Reboot system.
Then F2 again to access Device Settings, you should see the S140 listed there, which will allow you to configure your drives.
