OptiPlex All-in-One 7420 Line-out port, retaskable
Hello,
I'm about to purchase an OptiPlex All-in-One 7420 and all I need to know about this product is whether the rear line-out port (which is marked as retaskable in the manual and in the specs) is capable to be used as a line-in port for a microphone. My confusion comes from the fact that it is not listed as "line-out/line-in, retaskable" as on some other products, but only as "Audio line-out port, retaskable".
I will be thankful for some info if someone has the product and tests this (or knows if the port can be used as line in too.)

If your main concern is the capability for line-in to support a microphone, then go for it. The 7420 does have an input for microphone jack. While I do not have the product to run a test for you, the OptiPlex 7420 has a headphone/headset port on the left panel, which will support the use of microphone when input setting function is set to headset.
Storage drive activity light
The activity light turns on when the computer reads from or writes to storage drives.
Universal audio port
Connect headphones or a headset (headphone and microphone combo).
