Reached private message limit?
From previous posts I see that apparently we are only allowed 50 PM's in inbox and sent.
I only have 7 PM's from Dell in my inbox and 1 PM (to Dell) in my outbox. Trying to reply to Dell but keep getting "Reached private message limit"

Did the error message tell you to try again later?
In addition to the storage limit (a forum mod says it's 50 messages total in your Sent and Inbox), there is also a limit of a certain number of new messages sent in a certain amount of time (I don't know what those limits are). When you hit that limit, the next message you try to send results in a red error message instructing you to try again later.
So, wait a while and try to send it again.

Yes I managed to send PM a little while ago as well.
But it was over 32 hrs after I posted originally.
filbert suggested that it may have been that I sent too many PM's but I didn't manage to send any so that couldn't have been the reason either
