macOS DDM, DDPM complaints

Wow.  A company that makes monitors as good as Dell's releasing software as poorly made and as irritating as DDM and DDPM--scary.

* They don’t follow any Mac conventions:  no menus, no icon in the dock, no entry in Force Quit.

* They insist on Privacy & Security privileges every half hour.

* They alert you that there’s a newer version when there isn't.

* They have no uninstallers.

* They provide nothing useful that's not already built in to the System Settings' Displays and Lock Screen sections, unless you have two or three monitors.  Fortunately, the useful parts are all available through the joystick on the back of the monitor.  Hope it doesn’t break.

* Three quarters of their "functionality" overlaps.

* Their user interfaces (e.g., scheduling) are unintelligible.

* They come with 130 pages of pseudo-English manuals that are poorly organized.

And Dell’s firmware updating software is just as bad. Dell, take a look and start over.
