G3223D, connecting USB ports to desktop PC
Hello,
I have DELL G3223D monitor and I want to connect it to my desktop PC so that his USB ports are also connected to the PC. Currently I am using HDMI to for display connection. Can I connect my monitor to the PC with additional USB-C connection and to use it only for data transfer? Also can I connect with USB-C to USB-A cable?
P.S. I have also P2723D which I connected with multiple two cables HDMI and USB-B to USB-A, so I guess this kind of setup should also work for G3223D.

Correct! When using G3223D #4/#5 HDMI 2.0 or #6 DP 1.4 for video, you connect the USB-C to USB-C cable from the G3223D #7 USB-C upstream port to a USB-C port on the PC. Or, connect a 3rd party USB-C to USB-A cable from the G3223D #7 USB-C upstream port to a USB-A port on the PC.
