UPGRADE OF INSPIRON 5680 I7 8700

I am trying to find out if a Nvidia GTX 1660TI will fit and run on my PC. It currently has a 1060 6gb which has a 6 pin connector. I understand that the 460w CPU has a 6+2 8pin connector which is what I need for the new GPU. The specs on the 1660 say that it needs 120W which is less than the maximum that should run on the 460w. Can anyone give any insight to my question. It appears that Dell can only advise on the OEM models which apparently run less power pull than aftermarket. Thks

460w stock psu is good enough for 1660Ti

psu calculator (basic)

Load Wattage: 300 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: 350 W

GTX1660 Ti requires a 8 pin connector which is supplied by stock psu 6+2 in.

Dell 6 pin is effectively 8 pin b/c it has all three 12V pins wired. The additional 2 pin in 6+2 just provides grounding.
