Blue Light in Case Always On after PC unplugged for a week

Went on holiday for a week and unplugged the Inspiron 5675 - first boot after plugging back in it didn't boot up smoothly and went to some kind of blue screen or bios type of thing - I don't remember what exactly. Upon finally getting the PC to load the Blue Light in the Case is always on and the Dell Light Bar Controller doesn't work even when reinstalled. Tried updating the Bios and that hasn't worked either. Anyone have any ideas on how I can turn the Light Off?

Test or replace size 2032 CMOS battery.  It may have gone low while you were away with PC unplugged.  Low batteries will make for clunky starts as they affect BIOS.

Try doing a BIOS reset.  On newer Dell PC's, it's as simple as pushing the power button for 30 seconds.

@bradthetechnut Thanks - I tried the rebooting and that didn't work - looking into the battery now.
