OME4 - can't perform initial admin password change in TUI

On a fresh OME 4 deployment from the 4.0.0.202 OVF in vSphere 7, I cannot perform the initial admin password change, no matter what I use.  If I don't include a special or capital character or not long enough, then it can tell and warns me so typing in appears to be accurate.

Have tried powering fully off and back on a few times.

This is pretty wild… but a re-download of the .OVF and re-deploy to vSphere fixed it and I was able to enter the admin password and get to the TUI menu behind the prompt.

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.
We tested it out ourselves. We used P@ssw0rd1->P@ssw0rd1$
What you can do is to raise an official case with the tech support team so that they can have a remote session with you. They would love to capture the logs to investigate further.

Sorry... are you saying you also got blocked when you tried it on this appliance version, or that it was successful for you using P@ssw0rd1$?

I'll still go ahead and open a ticket, since I need to get this upgrade done.
