Adding Non-DELL HW (Supermicro) to Open Manage Enterprise 4.0
Hello There,
I'm just starting with the OpenManage Enterprise platform and I have non-Dell hardware (Supermicro) that I want to monitor and manage using OME, ideally with the same capabilities as Dell hardware. Could someone guide me on how to achieve this and what steps I need to take to ensure functionality?

Hi,
Ideally, it would be great that OME can support outside of Dell hardware, but unfortunately, OME only supports Dell hardware. Here's the support matrix for OME 4.0: https://dell.to/3sVCVGp

@Menon000 in Devices/Discovery/Discover Devices, when selecting Device Type/Server, you can select Non-Dell Servers (via OOB), with three options: Lenovo XClarity, HP iLO, Other. You might try selecting "Other". See alsoSpecifying discovery mode for creating a server discovery job
