316 total respondents provided 516 ratings.

18 Compellent

22 EQL

121 EMC

81 HP

66 Netapp

The rankings appear to basically be the reverse to the number of people who responded. The fewer the respondents the higher the rating. Therefore Compellent and EQL were close with Compellent edging out EQL as they had several fewer respondents.

Stephen, its good to see the whole industry doing better on this survey. Competitive pressure is a really good thing.

Dell/EqualLogic really did well in that survey. But of course, it sure casts Compellent in a positive light as well! I'd say it's a big pat on the back for the guys like the both of you - and the biggies should watch out. There's a BIG drop off in the overall score from Compellent and EqualLogic to HDS and the rest...
