I do appreciate Michael Dell's - way of operating his multi-national company.

I was intrigued with the strategies and plans he devised when i read a book by Krammer titled WHAT THE BEST CEO"S KNOW. i learn't a lot from his Dell's business approaches. I would want to chip-in a little opinion as regards manufacturing products that will be more affordable for students in Africa. i mean Cheaper/ less costly. Considering the fact that most laptops here in Nigeria are more costly to afford.

I and my association would appreciate it if this request is treated seriously.

It is fine. It's simple like google. )I would add something that says monitors on it somewhere.) You should worry about the pages behind the home page which are badly organized. The site was so much better about 5 years ago when there wasn't a dozen pages to click through before you actually got to pick what you wanted in your computer.

I know HP is the competition in all, but I wouldn't spend any time trying to find things to implement from their site which is notoriously one of the worst on the internet. I suppose it is kind of required when you sell really expensive products to make sure people get lost in your site and can't find their way out.

re: New Dell.com Home Page

Don O -

I don't think a comparison of home pages to illustrate a point really cheapens Dell. If you read the article again they are using outside opinions in the article. I think this article shows that they are taking their time to get it right. I participated in the beta for Dell's home page and think they made the right move.

Your article seems to play down HP's efforts to issue a new web page, while boosting your decision not to do the same. I would suggest you let someone from outside the company make these observations.
