Adding an update on server performance.

I just got some updated information on Dells new M-Series blade servers that is even stronger than what we originally posted. The new M-Series blade servers offer even better performance per watt: 25% better than HP BladeSystem c-Class and 28% better than IBM BladeCenter H Type 8852.

I would like a cheap, ultra small, low power desktop PC.

Just like MacMini is not ;)

Why not make such a machine using one of the new Diamondville platforms.

Would be very good if it would attach to the back of a Desktop LCD.

It should not need a fan or use much in the way of of the earth's resources.

It would be great if it can be powered by the screen too!

Less power supplies lowers power consumption and carbon footprint.

Better make it run Ubuntu too a I think Diamondville my struggle with Vista.

Has any progress been made as far as providing contributors dynamically updated (by Dell) digital marketing materials that they can either put on their websites or printed material showing how much they are off setting, or how many trees they have planted? I asked this in a previous post last March. Ideally I would like to see something similar to what UniBlue is offering through their free LocalCooling product.
