I hope you improve quality in your future RAID controllers, in the present your CERC and PERC 5 controllers in your new servers are low quality and not reliable at all, I don't trust Dell's servers in my company anymore.

So let me rephrase the question. Are notebooks no longer among the selected products Dell UK offers with Ubuntu?

Ever since Dell re-envisioned its business plan, it’s been making some surprising changes and creating some new partnerships. Often the only way to keep up with changing competition, particularly within the tech industry is to create totally new ideas about how to meet the needs of customers (it’s a people industry, after all). It will be interesting to see how this change helps current customers of Dell and those computer consultants and business owners looking for customized IT solutions.

Is it true that Dell has discontinued selling Ubuntu laptops in the UK? Was all that talk about Linux just a marketing stunt?

By the way, does Dell have a funding program for innovative startups? :-)

Would like to submit a 'GreenTech' Idea, that will boost Dell's products/services usage worldwide.

Equallogic has one of the most interesting solutions for iSCSI based storage
and hopefully they will continue to innovate after DELLs acquisition. Perhaps this will also make it easier for Equallogic to expand beyond USA and into Europe where we're located.
