Well put about the "humour".

re: The Importance of E-mail

Tall Parloux,

The humor was based on comments in another post on this blog in which the use of the word "solution" was pointed out as being overused. In the video, the presenter humorously referred to it. Just consider it an inside joke. I did find it amusing.

And while this was another pretty blatant sales pitch, it was successfully mixed with useful information that could save someone planning their network services a bit of time. So, I can see how there is a target audience that would find this post of interest.

Thanks, Mr. Rooholamini for taking your time to point this tool out.

In my company, I normally do the purchasing. The only problem is that I am not the most technical person. This sizing tool asks me to answer email questions at a high enough level where I can provide answers, without constantly having to pull my high priced admins into the discussions. I ran some of the "answers" by them and they were impressed. And that solution image at the bottom is really cool.

Thanks Dell, for making my job easier.

re: The Importance of E-mail

Yes yes yes...I found the presentation to be quite good, did I not. All the guys in my neighborhood watched it, and they liked it too. I approve!

re: The Importance of E-mail

P1lot - that's a matter of opionion.

Am I on the only one who found this presentation uninteresting and uninformative?

re: The Importance of E-mail

At least he has a good sense of humour! lol
