Hi The possibility to add a customized design is great. I wanted to get a Dell Studio with the graphite "topo design" but for a while it was not offered. Now it is, but the topo signature on the palm rest is no longer there. Lionel do you think it will be possible to bring this feature back, at least with the graphite design. I do agree it will look odd with another cover design. I would be great if we could be given the chance to personalize the interior our our laptop, cause once we open it, we don't see the cover anymore! We are personalizing for our eyes, if I may say!!! Thanks PS. Pinning my hope of purchasing a studio laptop soon, if the topo design on the palm rest comes back. Also, if the option of buying the remote control (the dell Media remorte M'09) could be brought back. That would be great.

How far do you think Dell will take the customer customization bit? It could reach deeper than wallpaper; imagine if you got to customer-build your own laptop, from the guts to the shape to the deco?

Hi Lionel, this is a great design initiative on the part of Dell. I love the consumer-personalized laptop options! So nice that buyers are starting to get more choices; I wonder to how many industries/products this will spread?
