If you're looking for the video drivers for the Intel GM965 chipset for WinXP, download the package for the Vostro 1400 laptop for WinXP. They work perfectly on the XPS M1330.

Can't help you with the nVidia drivers, but it looks like they suply one on the Downloads and Drivers page for the M1330, if you change the OS to Windows XP.

I am unable to find the correct video driver either and it is driving me crazy. The dell support says it is a Vista only laptop to make me feel better.

I just got my wife the m1330 last week, and downgraded it to XP for her work. I am unable to find a compatible XP video driver. I've tried the one on Dell's site and also the one from video2go, but no luck.

Any ideas?

For those of you who want to install XP on the M1330 and are worried about drivers, there are few problems. I just did it and found all of the drivers on the Dell site - go to support, choose your system using the drop down menu arrays when it comes to operating system, specify XP. You will find drivers arranged under logical groupings. The only thing that doesn't work is the Media Direct - that is tied to Vista. The only thing I had to do was to find a program to play DVDs. The Roxio program that came with the machine works fine.

The only real problem I had occurred when I connected a firewire external drive to the firewire port. The firewire driver corrupted two NTFS partitions on the hard drive but recognized and preserved the FAT32 partition. I don't know if this was a problem with the XP diver or would also occur under Vista. My solution was to create all FAT32 partitions on the drive.

Does anyone know if it will handle Photoshop CS versions very well? Because I am not sure if the screen size will be too small too see anything.

Does anyone know where we can find the latest video and SSD drivers for Windows XP? I found the 163.44 but it seems to eat up a lot of processing time. As well I found an SSD driver but it seems to lock out the box on heavy I/O processing...
