I guess selling at Walmart is one way to get ride of the Junk Dell Laptops ,Mine has broken 4 times in the first year and finally had to buy my own hard drive and install my own operating system and drivers to make it work now it works fine no help to customer support

I have to say I agree with AJ Parker. I have been a loyal Dell customer since 1998, and I specifically came to your Web site tonight to tell you that because you've chosen Wal-Mart as your retail "partner" for distribution of your PCs, that, I for one, will never own another. And I am in currently in the market for a new one. Wal-Mart does not "partner" with anyone - you will learn that in time.

"There are so many better companies" to choose from? Dell chose the largest retailer in the world which can reach more customers than any other competitor. It also chose a company known for having the best supply chain in retail, thereby offering the greatest possible value to customers.

Whether you like Wal-Mart or not, Dell chose the best partner to meet its needs.

I was on the fence about Dell before today (hearing good and bad things from coworkers, family, and friends) but when I saw the commercial that indicated Dell was distributing their PC's at Walmart? That cinched it. I won't own a Dell. There are so many BETTER companies you could have chosen.

The commercial for the "Dells are in Wal-Mart now" idea is very powerful IMHO as a marketer. I'm referring to the one with the rock climber in the beginning (if there are multiple; I've only seen one). The commercial grabbed my attention and really stuck the message in my head.

I'd like to show my friends the commercial. Is it available streaming anywhere like YouTube, Walmart.com, or Dell.com?

Completely agree with what Steven said above. Dell needs to bring back the standard monitors alongside the widescreen ones. Not everyone (like myself) wants widescreens, and its only going to hurt sales by not offering a choice for the consumer.

Maybe configuring your Dimension without a monitor and then adding a Dell E197FP as a separate item in your cart would be a good option for you. Just a suggestion.

We are a medical equipment distributor in the Philippines and some of our products are supposed to be configured with DELL desktops or laptops but which we cannot find locally. Is DELL setting up a local outlet (retail, distributor or what have you) here in Manila, Philippines and/or when?
