I began surfing the internet and using Windows only a year ago. I was completely lost and a nervous wreck.

I thank God for the wealth of knowledge I have received from my many friends at the Dell Community Forum. This also includes mfinnan101. I am happy to see him get the recognition he deserves. I know he will be successful in his endeavors.

The Dell forum is my "computing home." Whenever I need assistance, here is where I come. However, as a beginner, using the search feature has been somewhat confusing and certainly time consuming at times. The Accepted Solution feature has helped simplify finding available solutions. (That being said, I think I will search all my posts for Accepted Solutions to ensure they are highlighted.)

Congratulations and thank you mfinnan101 and everyone who gives unselfishly of their time and knowledge. I also thank the developers of the boards who are continually finding new ways to make this forum more user friendly, especially for beginners such as myself.

I pray that God will continue to bless you all.

@andy, I recommend you head over to our community forum (www.dellcommunity.com) and see if there is an accepted solution that may help you with your issue. If not, feel free to start a new thread and see if our great community of problem solvers can help.

hello,

i have recently had to have a system restore on my dell dimension C521 and there is no AUDIO DEVICE is installed i would really like to get one installed and am completly lost

It is nice to know where AS stands.... Thanx Natalie dear for posting this.

Now it would be even nicer for one to be able to check one's individual standings within the program ;)
