DellDirekte Goes Live in Norway

Earlier this week, we launched DellDirekte (www.delldirekte.no), our corporate blog in Norwegian. This is the fourth language for the Dell corporate blogs, following Direct2Dell in English, Chinese and Spanish.

Corporate blogs are not common in Norway. In fact, we believe we are one of the first large companies to launch our own blog.

We are looking forward to following the success of the other Dell blogs, and the other means of communication such as IdeaStorm and Dell Forums. In Dell Norway, we sincerely believe a corporate blog is an excellent way to strengthen the dialogue between ourselves and our stakeholders, first and foremost our customers.

DellDirekte is obviously designed for customers who prefer to communicate with Dell in Norwegian, although Danes and Swedes will also most likely be able to understand the content. The blog will focus on Dell's operations in Norway, but will also feature translated content from the English version of Direct2Dell that is worldwide in nature.

We look forward to hearing from all stakeholders in Norway, and invite everyone familiar with the Norwegian language to share comments, content ideas and feedback with the DellDirekte team.

Fox... it's in the works.

... adding on a previous post , how's that the new language is not listed with Chinese and spanish on the left pane on direct2dell.com ?

 LOL! Thanks Inger.

Never mind, but English, Chinese, Spanish, Norwegian... who decided on that order?

Inger from Norway
Tablet PC = Bærbar PC ;-)

How do you say Tablet PC in Norwegian?

RE: GRiNSER
No direct2dell for Germans because you complain too much! :-)

Interesting, I'm curious ... why the norvegian blog use a different platform (www.blogger.com) than D2D in english/chinese/spanish ?

Are you testing it for a transition ?

Wonderful! While you were all busy setting up your blog in Norway, I just found out that the flat panel monitor I ordered with my notebook has just been delayed! Come on, Dell; this is ridiculous. You said your only supply problems were with notebooks. Why was my monitor delayed? And does this mean my notebook is going to be pushed back when its ESD arrives, too?

I guess after reading the comments from the other blog posts, I should have expected delays on my order. I'm not making the mistake others did by waiting around indefinitely for you to decide when I should get the products I already paid for. I am canceling my order right now, getting an HP notebook, and buying the monitor from Best Buy. And I won't be spending another dollar on your lousy company.

Swedes do NOT normally find Norweigan blog attractive to read, it's much harder for Swedes to understand Norweigan.

It would be much more logic to create a Dell blog in Swedish since it is the main and definately my a big majority biggest language in whole Scandinavia.

german ideastorm and german direct2dell for austria, germany and switzerland would be important!

Inger from Norway

Oh yes we got the Norwegian blog so I can understand a bit more if there was something to understand...

But nobody can tell me why I don't get my money back after canceled my order for two Insprion 1720?

Just more advertise for products we not get :-(

What problems? Do we have a problem? No, we don't. Delayed notebooks? That's just our strategy. That's what makes what we are today! Demand is huge and business is great! SO, what's the problem? :-)

Great.  So how does "you're not getting your notebook anytime soon" translate into Norwegian?

Did your professional fingerpainters figure out how to paint the top of a notebook yet?

I don't get it. What does this have to do with my delayed notebook? Why doesn't Dell have 100% of its people working on the notebook problems?

:-)
