Latitude 2100 education netbook provides great channel opportunities

I’ve spent the last two days training channel partners on the new Latitude 2100, and the response (and timing) has been overwhelmingly positive. As a product offering it should be really interesting to channel partners who serve the education and training markets – a thin, light netbook with enterprise-class centralized management. As a services opportunity, however, it presents even a greater opportunity for channel partners. Think about it…a netbook learning device where the channel partner can provide managed services, using tools that are already developed. Check out the press release and the product brochures and let me know what you think about it.

That computer is so nice I have to be creative to find a good enough reason to buy one. I also liked that rack they had at that school. At a former employer we had problems with computers not being returned after being on the run.

This rack could maybe fix that?

I did the same search for "Dell Latitude 2100" and only got 606,000 hits.

I just Googled Latitude 2100. In just three days there are 1.7 million (yes...MILLION) mentions of this product online.  My favorite comment...."Dell has found a niche in the market that nobody else has."

I just found a video about this on You Tube.  See it here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_1N9UtEZWc
