REV2 Technologies- PartnerDirect Offers a Refreshing Change

It’s very important, in our channel community, to represent our Partner’s voice via their idea generation, commentary, feedback and business successes. Starting today, we’ll begin featuring different Partners who are achieving success and growth with PartnerDirect.

First up is Rev2 Technologies based in Santa Clara, CA., who used Dell’s nimbleness for its own growth and business opportunities. By relying on Dell’s quick response and technical expertise, Rev2 Technologies achieved:

  • A 65% increase in repeat business
  • A 75% increase in Dell server sales
  • And 55% more deals won

Since becoming a Dell Partner, they’ve registered about 25 deals and stated that Dell has been open, truthful and has worked through any conflict that has arisen.  In addition, Rev2 stated that Dell was a complimentary partner who shared a common interest in the complexity of data centers today including; security software, virtualization and green initiatives.

By choosing a reseller program that offers less complexity & bureaucracy, Rev2 was able to present more solutions faster with streamlined ordering and flexible financing. Rev2 has been an invaluable partner and resource to me personally as well as to the different companies I have worked for. When we started doing business with rev2 Technologies in 2006, after Pay By Touch had acquired BioPay, they had already established a great relationship with Pay By Touch in San Francisco (no longer in business), and had provided significant IT equipment and expertise to them.

I was in the position of recommending IT equipment and vendors for the Herndon, Virginia operation, and I thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed working with Steve, Terry and Greg of rev2.

In one particular need we had for a database server, Terry brought together Oracle, Dell and rev2's top-drawer technical expertise to obtain the best DB server/storage combination we had ever had for the particular need (a high volume real time financial transaction application).

These guys embrace a team effort to fully meet the needs of their customers, and they are one of the finest VARs that I've worked with.

They are more than worthy of your consideration.

 

We found Rev2 completely by accident and started our relationship with a small purchase through E-bay. Intrigued by their quick and quality service over  a small purchase we connected for our other hardware needs. It has been more than  2 yrs that we have been doing business with them to the point that they have become our exclusive hardware as well as software providers.

Their staff is extremely is friendly and knowledgeable often giving the value of a full blown 'IT consulting' company and extending their services beyond just a retailer. While Dell products are their main inventory they have as easily helped us plan, purchase and implement products and solutions involving IBM, Sonicwall, Cisco, Microsoft, 3Com, Barracuda, Adobe...just to name the few.

Dell.com provides very handy online purchasing system, however, Rev2 have managed to have our workstations loaded, configured and shipped out before we were done choosing the online configurations. I don’t' see us ever again dialing the dreaded 1-800 numbers and humming along to the 'music on hold'.

I don't know how but they deliver every time! :)
